The Dangerous Escape
It was about the witching hour an orchestra of the night had been echoing throughout the woods.BANG!’ I had awoken, glaring around the room with a blur in my eyes and felt as if something was in here with me nothing but darkness I seized my blanket from the feet of my bed scrunching it in my hands and holding it against me .’BANG! BANG!’ i flinched and hesitatingly covered the blanket over my face, curled up in a ball, a million thoughts just spattered in my head *should I see what’s out there? No, it’s too dangerous!*, steadily I peeked out of my blanket, a summoning of curiosity took over me one at a time *creek * foot by foot I walked towards the draw in the corner of my room and opened up the top to pull out a flashlight. I took a peek through the curtains as the moon shone through particles of dust had been flowing within the light, with a flash I shot the light outside just to find “NOTHING?!” I thought to myself.There had been nothing but crackles of tree leaves rustling in the wind I quickly opened up the door to the balcony and ran towards the rail nothing but the silhouettes of trees had been laid against the grass as my hair flew across my face in the wind's direction.I thought to myself “was I just hearing things? No, I mustn't have ugh I'm tired” I walked exhaustively back to my room snuggling myself into bed laying the flashlight beside me.“BANG BANG BANG!!!” I jumped with an instant I took hold of the flashlight off my feet running towards the balcony the sound had been coming from everywhere echoing throughout the woods.I quickly ran inside shoving and thrashing my stuff inside the suitcase as if there’s no tomorrow, thought on leaving this house asap and going to my friends.
I then felt a rush of wind flow through the balcony curtains I looked back to see a bunch of black figures with a glow of white outlining them, and the color of bloodshot red eyes just glaring through from a far distance.I ran towards the doors slamming them furiously, then ran to the closet to find the bat.*knock knock* I heard something knocking on the window, a black silhouette stood still with a tilted head faced towards the door I locked myself in the closet gripping the bat held against my chest peeking through the gap keeping track of its whereabouts.I heard a clang coming from downstairs the silhouette had gone from the balcony door “WHERE THE IN THE H*LL DID IT GO?!!” I thought to myself and squealed in fear, I heard footsteps of the floorboards creaking and coming towards me I could see a glow of white slowly becoming brighter and brighter, having the feeling it was just a few steps away from me killed me inside.I saw the figure once more this time clearly it had been a very tall human figure but had no features of humankind it had had big hairy feet the size of 3 hands stuck together it was searching my stuff leaving a big mess, I had thought to myself “WHAT THE WHAT IS THAT?!! ” it walked towards the closet *breathing heavily* I could stop myself from squealing I looked eye to eye to this creature as it had no face but bloodshot red eyes was all I could make out in sight. I then ground to a halt making sure there had been no sound of movement.With its long round tipped fingers it hesitantly grabbed hold to the closet handle opening the door slowly…….. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
